Ruled by Jupiter, the planet of luck and growth, Sagittarius brings fire, optimism and a restless urge to explore. It’s the sign of truth-seekers, travellers, philosophers and late-night dreamers.

It feels as though there’s a real sense of openness in the air – like the universe is a little louder, a little closer. I was recommended a book called Signs,: The Secret Language of the Universe, written by psychic, Laura Lynne Jackson, all about how to recognise messages from angels, spirit guides and loved ones who’ve passed, and I’m really enjoying it. You start to notice the signs more as you slow down and tune in.

About a month ago I also had a tarot reading with my friend Carole Makie, and looking back, all the cards were pointing towards watching out for hidden messages, asking for guidance, remembering that I can make things happen and that improvements were coming. And they really have: it’s been a brilliant month for us, with wonderful events, we especially enjoyed Alexandra Tolstoys Christmas Fair at the Sloane Club and the beautiful tree. So many lovely people and a divine atmosphere, it even snowed that day. But last week also marked the birth of our second fragrance after two years of development with perfumer Marina Barcenilla so it really has been a magical time. The cards were right! I have fallen completely in love with our new After Midnight eau de parfum and so many people have said they love it too which is so brilliant! We sold the first small batch in just a few days, and we are making more right now! Its uplifting, joyful energy feels so in tune with the season – a little bottle of midnight magic, optimism and possibility. Balancing the energies
This exciting, boundless energy can also feel overwhelming at times, so I’m balancing it with candlelit baths and walks in nature, letting the fire have its fun, but keeping my feet on the ground. One of my favourite things to do at this time of year is go to the New Covent Garden flower market to choose Christmas flowers, plants and decorations. There’s something about the very early morning start, it’s open from 4 am and really over by 9 am – the cold air, the scent of greenery and all the colours and endless choices that feel so perfectly in tune with this season’s hopeful, expansive energy.
