There's something so lovely about watching Aja find its way into new spaces this summer, so I wanted to share a few updates from the studio.
We're heading to Australia this Autumn, with our Dreams three-wick candle in black landing in All Things Golden's brand new flagship store in Melbourne. If you don't know the brand, it's worth checking out: female founded, with a considered space built around style, wellness and community and now available to shop from the UK take a look here. It feels like exactly the right store for us
Closer to home, you'll now find us at Chippy Flower Farm's Flower Hut in the Cotswolds, sitting among their seasonal blooms and hand-picked gifts. If you haven't visited, it's worth the trip. There's something special about flowers and fragrance sharing a shelf.
In London, our Dreams hand washes and lotions are now going into Bagatelle's Dover street restaurant in a special bespoke bottle made just for them, and behind the scenes we're deep into developing a bespoke summer scent with our amazing perfumer, Marina Barcenilla. More on that when the time is right.
Earlier in the season we joined a wellness trunk show hosted by the wonderful Chloe, at her new studio Gagingwell right next to the lovely new Canteen restaurant, with lots of great brands and classes on the day. It was a truly like-minded gathering of women, and I'm already looking forward to her next event: a Canteen lunch bringing together a wonderful group of inspiring women, creators and entrepreneurs. The day starting with a sound healing and relaxation session beforehand. Can't wait.
And I've been feeling inspired all over again thinking back to the We Grow breakfast at Kensington Roof Gardens during Chelsea Flower Show week; a morning built entirely around nature, community and women supporting women. We were particularly moved by Lulu Urquhart's talk on landscape design and the role beavers play in restoring our rivers, and by Common Farm's Georgie Newbury's campaign to give flower growing its own tax code. And of course, the legend that is Lynne Franks, launching her We Grow campaign with the Olwyn Foundation. It's exactly the kind of energy we love to be a part of.
