Whether you are in search of a fragrant Christmas gift or an uplifting treat for yourself, the Aja Botanicals shop – now open in Soho, central London – is a welcoming space where you can come and explore our range of fine fragrances for the home, discover your favourite scent and learn about the transformative effects of natural perfumery.
Offering our full range of scented candles, room diffusers and refills, the Aja Botanicals team would be delighted to meet you and help you choose the perfect gift for yourself or another. Designed to transform your energy, mindset and space, our fragrances contain pure essential oils that have been expertly blended to craft exquisite scents that give a connection to the natural world.
From the warm woody notes of Into the Mystic, to the heady florals of Hello, I Love You, the sweet and smoky Walk on the Wild Side and the herbaceous Dreams, our scents will take you on an evocative journey through ancient forests, bright blossoms, woodland campfires and wild herb gardens.
“We’ve opened an amazing pop-up shop on Air Street in central London, and it’s brilliant to have a space for people to come in and actually smell the fragrances,” says Tilly Wood, founder of Aja Botanicals. “We’re excited to introduce people to the world of natural perfumery and to show people all the amazing ingredients we use in the fragrances.”
The shop interior has been designed by the talented team at Motive, who were asked to create a welcoming space that encompasses the essence of Aja Botanicals and contains pieces that can be reused for future projects.
“Tilly’s vision for the brand is at the core of what we have created,” says Lauren Marshall, head of design at Motive. “The store conveys elements of duality, transformation and, of course, the natural world. Light and dark tones make the space textured and detailed. A totally natural window display of dried foliage, sculpted into dramatic shapes, works alongside bright and bold illustrations, of ingredients that are featured in the fragrances, to create an environment rooted in the natural world.”
The motive team worked specifically with British materials, including timber risers from the Thames Estuary and plinths from Canon Street Station.
“We hope visitors to the shop will feel immediately connected to the natural elements,” says Lauren. “The site is situated in a busy area of Soho and will be live through until Christmas, so we also hope the space offers a moment of calm to the customers at this busy time of year.”
