After Midnight is back and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
As always, this is a very small batch run, with limited numbers, because the oils we source are precious and so we chose to produce in small quantities. If you’ve been waiting to restock (or to try it for the first time), now’s the moment.

What it is (and why your skin will love it)
After Midnight is a deeply nourishing body oil that absorbs beautifully, leaving skin soft, hydrated and lightly scented.
It’s the kind of everyday luxury that feels instantly grounding especially after a bath or shower, when your skin is warm and slightly damp and you want to seal in moisture and give yourself a little lift.
Spirited and seductive
Scent can shift a mood in seconds. After Midnight is spirited and seductive. Playful Jasmine Sambac lifted by bright Neroli, grounded with deeper notes of velvety Sandalwood
A powerhouse blend of oils
We blend After Midnight with a carefully chosen mix of botanical oils to balance and hydrate, soften the skin, and support healthy renewal, including:
-
Camellia
-
Abyssinian
-
Rosehip
-
Argan
-
Borage
Use it anytime your skin needs extra hydration or your mood needs a little lift.
Spirit Notes: Pisces season
We’ve just entered Pisces season.
Think water, dreams, intuition — and a gentle invitation to soften.
It’s a time when emotions sit closer to the surface, and you may notice motivation comes in waves rather than in a straight line. You might feel more drawn to music, scent, rest, and anything that helps you drop back into your body.
A little watch out: Pisces energy can also feel a bit foggy or overwhelming if you’re overstimulated. So it’s a good time to keep your boundaries gentle but clear.
Less noise, more nourishment.
And of course, being a water sign, it’s a beautiful time for a bath and body ritual: a few deep breaths, a candle-lit bath, and your favourite body oil smoothed onto damp skin.
This week’s New Moon ceremony
We loved joining Reiki practitioner and Priestess of the Moon, Carole Mackie, for her new moon ceremony celebrating the arrival of the Year of the Fire Horse, at the stunning Walled Garden in Cobham.
Carole recommends using the new moon and full moon as simple markers: to release what you’re done with, and align with what you’re calling in.
Whether that’s lighting a candle (we used Dreams and Walk on the Wild Side), taking a quiet moment to look at the sky, or putting your crystals out in the moonlight — it’s your intentions that are powerful, alongside the grounded actions towards your desires.
I’ve also noticed that just before these big cosmic moments, my mind can zoom in on everything that isn’t working. Suddenly everything feels harder, and I start questioning what I’m doing. Why am I not better? Did I do something wrong?
(As an expelled convent girl, guilt is basically my default setting.)
I think this is my shadow side, so I’m learning not to attach too much emotion to it and let it pass. Then I feel clear, energised, and ready to go again.
It seems like a work in progress.
Does anyone else feel like that?
