We’ve been boxing up lots of diffusers and candles to send out this week. The three‑wicks are no joke - very glad to be back at my F45 workouts so I can lift them without straining my back. Luckily, we’ve had a few helpers! Thank you for keeping us busy; every parcel is packed with care by our amazing team.
When it’s your own company that you love, there’s no true “off”, so I’m carving out time to regroup and recharge - with exercise, meditation, and seeing family and friends. Even ten or twenty minutes lying down, breathing, and listening to a guided meditation resets and invigorates me. The house jobs are always a drag, though - why is there so much laundry? Odd socks drive me nuts. I’m genuinely considering sending the sheets out weekly to be laundered and ironed… could that be the biggest luxury of all?
A highlight
Seeing our Hand Wash, Hand Lotion and diffusers at Arsenal’s Diamond Club—so happy they were ready in time for the start of the new season. The hand wash and hand lotions will be coming later this year to our online store.
Made with hydrolats from our garden of calendula, lavender and chamomile, the hydrolats are distilled in small batches - see image below- infusing the formula with water‑soluble botanicals, a skin‑friendly pH and that fresh “just‑picked” aroma—like a whisper of the plant in your everyday ritual.
A challenge
The relentlessness of wearing all the hats. I can’t always give every area equal attention, so I’m learning to give myself a break, lessen my expectations, and keep my to-do lists in the Notes app on my phone.
A vision board win
Many things I pinned months ago are now showing up—sometimes in unexpected forms, but it’s definitely working. I’d highly recommend making a vision board (with a photo of yourself in the centre!). Visualising is powerful—paired with action—so dream big.
Also, we’re thrilled to have our fragrances at Chez Lui in Notting Hill, and soon at Revive in Weybridge. Partnering with like-minded people across different fields is so rewarding, especially when you’re often immersed in your own world.
