Into The Mystic: Celebrating the spirit of Glastonbury

Into The Mystic: Celebrating the spirit of Glastonbury

There’s something magnetic about Glastonbury. It’s more than a festival—it’s a landscape, a mood, a kind of shared dreaming. Whether you’re beneath the stage lights or wandering through wildflower meadows at dusk, there’s a soft electricity in the air. A gentle hum that stirs the senses and roots you in the moment.

As Tilly says:

"I first went to Glastonbury in 1990. We just parked up and walked down the hill - there were no fences in those days. I love the incredible view down of the whole valley. The atmosphere there is incredible. The community. A very loving feeling. Safe, peaceful,

When you watch the music, it feels so iconic, a special moment in time, because it’s got the Glastonbury backdrop. It's such a soulful and spiritual place."

But Glastonbury is also a place of legend—where the Vale of Avalon lies shrouded in mist, and Somerset’s ancient ley lines criss-cross the land, humming with unseen energy. Here, myth and reality blur: King Arthur is said to rest beneath the Tor, and Morgana—his half-sister, enchantress, and healer—moves through the stories like the morning mist.
Morgana is more than a sorceress. She is the wild feminine, at home in liminal spaces—between light and shadow, land and water, seen and unseen. In Arthurian legend, she is both guide and guardian of Avalon, a woman of depth, intuition, and elemental power. She embodies the alchemy of nature: the way the land can heal, transform, and reveal hidden strengths.

Into the Mystic is our quiet tribute to that feeling—a candle and diffuser inspired by untamed places and long, golden days. The name is inspired by Van Morrison’s iconic song, a timeless ode to wandering, wonder, and the irresistible call of the wild. Crafted for grounding and enveloping, this scent opens with the earthy embrace of cedarwood and oakmoss, softened by lavender and green galbanum. The result? A forest accord that feels ancient, expansive, and deeply comforting—like the hush of woodland just as the sun slips below the horizon.

This fragrance is for those who come alive outdoors: music in the air, grass beneath bare feet, the freedom of open skies. Yet, unlike the crescendo of headline acts, this fragrance sits quietly in the background, calm, assured, a low, steady rhythm for your space.

There’s a richness to early summer in the British countryside—the weight of the air before rain, the glow of lanterns in distant tents, the flicker of light on wild leaves. Into the Mystic distils that landscape into something elemental and lasting, a gentle reminder of nature’s quiet power.

Each piece is hand-poured in Britain using our signature plant-based wax blend—soya, coconut, and beeswax—infused with pure essential oils. Designed to complement any interior, our candle and diffuser vessels are crafted in either black or white hand-blown glass, each one uniform yet unique.

The vibrant pastel packaging, featuring artworks by Chiara Perano, reflects the distinctive character of each scent and our nature-led, artistic process. Every detail, from the biodegradable mushroom packaging for refills to our recyclable outer boxes, is a quiet celebration of sustainability and thoughtful design.

Into the Mystic channels a little of Morgana’s spirit. It’s a scent for those drawn to the wild edges—the dreamers, the seekers, those who know that magic is found in both the hush of the woods and the pulse of a festival night.

With every flicker and breath, it’s an invitation to embrace your own quiet power, to ground yourself in nature’s wisdom, and to let the landscape work its gentle transformation.

This is our festival season essential. Not loud. Not fleeting. Just quietly transformative—an invitation to pause, breathe, and let the wild in.
